Yao Xingtong Wears Shockingly Sheer Dress At Toronto Film Festival (PHOTOS)

It's a given that the blaring lights of red carpet cameras can make even the most subtly sheer garment look translucent. So we were a little surprised to see how ill-prepared Chinese actress Yao Xingtong was at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival.

For the premiere of "In Conversation With... Jackie Chan" yesterday, the 29-year-old opted for a paper-thin white gown that pretty much revealed... well, what we hope are pasties. Maybe it was just a case of flashing lights, but we suspect that people on the red carpet took notice too because she soon was shielding her chest with a stuffed panda bear.

While we definitely give her points for craftiness (having a stuffed animal handy on the red carpet for wardrobe malfunctions? Genius foresight), we're a little confused how she could have left the house without anyone saying anything. She must have the same stylist as thong-flaunting Sophie Turner, right? I don't get the nipple tape. You're basically putting a window over your breasts and the nipple tape does nothing to really hide it. If anything, the reflection brings more attention.

I feel that everyone should just move on and stop picking apart what everyyone wears--my goodness that woman is absolutely gorgeous. I think maybe the jealous ones are so worried about the "peek". Get ver yourself.
btw-I am a middle-age professional woman who wouldn't dress that way-if I were her....maybe I just would! Let her enoy her moment---life is only a string of moments, don't steal other's, worry about your own.

The stuffed panda is one of two that Jackie takes all over the world with him. He photographs them at various film sites, with celebrities, and in places of interest. His intention is to auction them off for charity and include a photo album of the bears (named La and Zy) with celebs and in interesting locales.
