The 73-year-old victim of a rape in Central Park spoke to The New York Post about the shocking assault Wednesday from her Upper West Side home. The woman expressed anger at her attacker:

"Kill him. Cut off his penis. That’s fine. Cut off his feet, then hit him over the head. Then give him life in prison. This guy knew what he wanted to do. I’m a little jittery. I get the shakes. But I’m more angry. I hope he goes to jail for a long time, and he gets raped, over and over again."

Police Commissioner Ray Kelly provided details of a frightening exchange between the victim and her attacker less than two weeks prior to the assault, when the man became angry after she photographed him masturbating in the park.

The woman told police she believes the same man approached her on Wednesday and asked "Do you remember me?" He then threw her on the ground and raped her.

Police officials have released two images of the suspect wearing a polo shirt and carrying two bags. He is described as having a Russian or Eastern European accent.

The victim is an avid birdwatcher who visits Central Park every day. When asked if the assault would keep her from bird-watching, she remained defiant. "I’m not scared," she said. "I don’t want to lose that pleasure. I won’t let anything keep me from enjoying the park. I’m not going back looking like this, but of course I’ll go back. It’s my park."
