'Episodes' Renewed: Showtime Orders Season 3

'Episodes' Coming Back For Season 3

Showtime has renewed "Episodes" for a third season. Production on the nine-episode Season 3 third season will begin next year.

"Friends" veteran Matt LeBlanc stars as a fictionalized version of himself opposite Stephen Mangan and Tamsin Greig as Sean and Beverly Lincoln, the husband and wife writers and producers of a show he stars on. "Episodes" comes from David Crane and Jeffrey Klarik.

The Showtime comedy picked up three Emmy nominations for Season 1, including Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series, Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series, and Outstanding Original Main Title Theme Music. LeBlanc won a Golden Globe for his role and the series was nominated for Best Television Series, Comedy or Musical.
