nytimes.com:

DIPLOMACY is a minefield, and Mitt Romney spent the last week blowing up his foreign policy credentials to be president. He raised doubts about his capacity to deal with global crises, and we were left hoping that if that 3 a.m. call ever went to him, he'd have set up call forwarding.

Mitt is a typical chicken hawk like his neo con cronies. They equate successful conduct of foreign policy with bombast and bellicosity. That seems to satisfy some inner need they have to prove they are "real" men. If they wanted to play Rambo too bad few if any of them ever availed themselves of the opportunity to be in a war. Instead they do the vicarious Rambo thing with others' lives.

Mitt's shooting off his mouth makes Kaiser Wilhelm's clumsy blowhard bluster and intimidation foreign policy of 100 years ago look like a supreme exercise of diplomatic finesse.

Romney can't think fast enough to answer tough questions. The debates should be hilarious.

Romney seems to shoot from the hip in his eagerness to show his foreign policy knowledge. That is dangerous. Obama did not have much foreign policy experience when he was elected but he is a thoughtful guy making measured statements. We need this quality for a chap who can push the red button.

When are we going to see something on HP that DOESN'T criticize Mitt Romney? A few days ago there was a photo lineup titled "Mitt Romney talks to humans." The bias on this so called journalism site is disgusting. I posted about it and it mysteriously "disappeared."

When Mitt stops being mock-worthy, I'm sure the mocking will coast to a halt.

Day after day, alone on the hill
The man with the foolish grin is keeping perfectly still
But nobody wants to know him
They can see that he's just a fool
As he never gives an answer
But the fool on the hill
Sees the sun going down
And the eyes in his head
See the world spinning around

Well on the way, head in a cloud
The man of a thousand voices talking percetly loud
But nobody ever hears him
Or the sound he appears to make
And he never seems to notice
But the fool on the hill
Sees the sun going down
And the eyes in his head
See the world spinning around

And nobody seems to like him
They can tell what he wants to do
And he never shows his feelings
But the fool on the hill
Sees the sun going down
And the eyes in his head
See the world spinning around

He never listen to them
He knows that they're the fools
They don't like him
The fool on the hill
Sees the sun going down
And the eyes in his head
See the world spinning around

Except you know perfectly well it's all about Mitt.
Go find your OWN little ditty if you want to, but stop trying to steal someone else's talking points.

He is an insincere fumbler in every way...I'm sick and tired of guys who want to lead who can't even talk and seem to have a sort of attention disorder that prevents them from thinking clearly before acting.

Agreed...worst part of a politician like this is that he is a politician like this...the prize is the office...not the governing.

That is one thing with Obama, whether you like him or not (and I do) the man seems to truly enjoy attempting to "fix" things....he enjoys thinking through a problem, listening to ideas from others and then making a decision...right or wrong....in other words, he LIKES to govern.

Mitt may well be good at delegating day to day operations of his businesses and making BROAD decisions about the direction a company will go, but he leaves all the real work to others and only cares about the outcoming being financially helpful to HIM...that is fine for business, I guess, but it doesn't work in government...and he WILL find that part of being President tedious, I am sure.

He would find it tedious IF he were elected...but the only way they can get a win is with this voter id cheating scheme...even with a billion dollars behind him he will have a hard time winning...Some things like love and friendship and trust and talent are still not for sale....mitt is not a talented actor and we feel his insincerity every time he opens his mouth...so too bad for the romster....I really doubt that we will have to sit thru mitt stumbling and fumbling much longer.
