Melissa Gorga, 'Real Housewives Of New Jersey' Star, Denies Having Worked As A Stripper

Melissa Gorga Denies Stripper Past

On Sunday’s episode of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," Melissa Gorga’s was confronted by a man from her past claiming to be her old boss at a New Jersey gentlemen’s club. And while Melissa admits she did work at the club for several months, she made it clear she was not a dancer.

“Melissa worked at the club behind the bar, not as a dancer,” her representative tells me. “Worked one day a week for almost a year. She has nothing to hide.”

Gorga says she was never embarrassed to work as a bartender at the bikini bar, wearing a tank top and shorts, and finds it funny that anyone would think she has something to hide from her husband.

“Joe Gorga went to the bar a few times to see Melissa,” her spokeswoman tells me. “She even has an affidavit from the clubs owner, Chris Kontos, saying she was never a dancer. The reason she didn’t recognize Angelo [the man claiming she was a dancer] was because he worked the day shift and Melissa worked the evening.”

Despite what you see on "The Sopranos," New Jersey state law prohibits topless or nude dancing in establishments that sell alcohol.

“Joe knows everything about his wife including who paid for her boobs,” her spokeswoman said with a laugh. “She put them on her credit card!”
