'Big Brother' Renewed For Season 15

CBS' summer reality series, "Big Brother," has been renewed for a 15th cycle, the network announced Wednesday ahead of the show's 14th season finale.

The long-running competition, which premiered in 2000, still performs well in young demographics, averaging 6.79 million viewers, 2.5/08 in adults 18-49, 3.0/08 in adults 25-54 and 1.7/06 in adults 18-34, according to CBS.

The 90-minute season finale will see Dan, Ian and Danielle competing in a three-part Head of Household competition to determine which two finalists will face the jury of evicted houseguests to win $500,000.

Julie Chen will remain on the show as host for the 2013 cycle.

The "Big Brother" finale airs Wednesday, September 19 at 9:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
