Finding an inexpensive way to recreate something that's caught your eye but you couldn't afford is a wonderful feeling. It's like you somehow pulled a fast one and cheated the system. That's why we loved today's Craft Of The Day by Cupcakes And Cashmere. These geode bottle stoppers are a glitzy alternative to plain corks. And the best part? They were inspired by a $60 version but only cost about $7 each to make.

We love this craft because it's a great way to dress up liquor or wine bottles and make them a little fancier. Also, when the original cork inevitably crumbles because you didn't remove it exactly the right way, it's good to have a few backups on hand so your wine doesn't get stale. You definitely wouldn't want that to happen. For a full tutorial, visit Cupcakes and Cashmere.
