The Printorium is an online store like no other.
Miraphora Mina and Eduardo Lima were graphic designers for ten years on the Harry Potter films, responsible for the incredibly detailed publications, maps, posters and other fake-print ephemera that made the movies' world feel so real.
And now they're offering limited-edition prints of some of their most famous work.
“What we’d like to offer to the fans who’ve grown up with Harry Potter… [is] that they will bring their nostalgia to the next stage of their lives," Mina says in a video posted on the London-based company's website.
They also offer advice that we can't help but endorse:
"Any extra money you have as a designer, you should go and buy a book."
Currently on sale at The Printorium are a "Daily Prophet" front page from Deathly Hallows Part One, a Quidditch World Cup poster from The Goblet of Fire, the Marauders’ Map from The Prisoner of Azkaban, and the cover of fake magazine "The Quibbler" from The Half-Blood Prince.
They’re not cheap – the basic collection starts at £69 ($115) while the Premium Collection prints, with special gold-leaf detailing, are priced up to £349 ($570), all accompanied with certificates of authenticity. But they are beautiful.
The company's intention is to expand their offerings to a much larger collection. Creditcardia Reducto!
