Well, we hope you already made some progress through this list, because Friday marked summer's official finale with a cold, wet day in Chicago.
It was a surprisingly news-filled summer, but soon the season of outdoor music festivals, dining al fresco and endless days at the beach will be supplanted by sweater weather, pumpkin-flavored everything and -- oh yeah -- a little political something-or-other.
On the brink of autumn, we took to Twitter and asked our readers what they were most looking forward to with the fall equinox's Saturday arrival. Below, find out what they told us.
What'd we miss? Let us know in the comments below. Looking for something to do in the months ahead? Check out the Chicago Reader's fall arts preview for an idea or 200.
