The "Project Runway" star, whose show is in its tenth season, went the bombshell route in a sky blue Alexandre Vauthier Spring 2012 Couture gown. When originally shown on the runway, the dress was entirely sheer on the bottom (we could see the model's nude panties). Klum gave it an update with an opaque panel in the center, loincloth-style, but left her legs (and her Charlotte Olympia heels) showing. Hey, with gams like those...
Luckily the look veered glamorous (rather than, um, oversexed) with soft Old Hollywood hair and a neckline that recalled Marilyn Monroe's famous "Seven Year Itch" look.
Heidi Klum supported "Project Runway" alum Christian Siriano by wearing one of the designer's custom creations on the Emmy red carpet. The dress had the...
A stunningly beautiful woman, but if I'd been designing the dress? Cleavage too low, maybe more interesting and flattering would have been some slightly higher neckline with a kind of criss/cross design? You all can tell I'm a fashion maven! also, slit on one side, not two, or at least not two that were equally high....looks like trying too hard, and if there was ever a woman who didn't need to try hard, it's this lovely lady.

Her hair looks like she did it herself in 1960 with rollers. Her shoes, earrings and dress are too matchy matchy. She has terrible style when someone else isn't dressing her.

Heidi: You aren't 29 anymore. Stop with the miniskirts and high slits. It is unbecoming! No one wants to see a mother of 4 with her hoo haw hanging out!

It says hey I'm back on the market and I want you to know it. Yes, she has the body to pull it off and even though she looks good for her age the gown looks cheesy and also a bit too reminiscent of an earlier age and she's wasn't going for a retro look. Close examination shows her breasts need a lift/bra and the barely there garment just cheapens her entire image. Her make up gives her skin a kind of pasty look, too. It doesn't work well and not at her age. She should be trying to aim for a more elegant, classic appearance rather than a trendy and borderline out- of -date look. There's something to be said for aging gracefully. Plus, it's been a long time since the Charles Angels' look has been in vogue. She looks dated like a hot, cheap sex symbol.

On one of the earlier episodes of Project Runway this season, Heidi (along with her fellow judges) bashed a contestant for making a slit too high. They called it outdated, cheesy, and like a bad pageant gown...
And here she is on the red carpet wearing...a high slit! (A dress I happen to think is beautiful if you can pull it off).
They also slammed the same contestants for using gold pyramid studs...said they were outdated, cheesy, tacky as well. If you notice what is popular this season in shoes and accessories (even Michael Kors's own label), he is using the same things he bashed other people for.
