Our Time Launches Voter Registration Campaign Starring Usher

Usher is lending his star power to a new push to encourage voter registration.

In honor of National Voter Registration Day, Our Time has launched a celebrity-backed campaign stressing the importance of voting this November. In the video starring Usher, the popular singer urges potential voters to make their voices heard at the ballot box this fall.

"When you really understand the effective change that happens as a result of coming together, pooling an effort, that is when you begin to see the difference," Usher says in the video. "This is when your voice really matters. This is the time that you should engage. This is the time when you can make a difference."

He continues: "If you're not looking.. for any opportunity, just a spark to hopefully bring light to what's happening, then nothing happens."

The video directs viewers to Our Time's website, where individuals can register to vote.
