Vogue Mistakenly Calls Deputy Assistant Secretary Of State Dan Baer An Interior Designer (PHOTO)

Whoops! Vogue Corrects Embarrassing Blunder

Vogue printed a correction in its October issue, stating that the magazine incorrectly described a government official in the Chelsea Clinton interview that ran in its September publication.

At the end of Jonathan Van Meter's interview, he mentioned one of Clinton's friends, Dan Baer.

Baer was described as an interior designer in the print version of the article, when in actuality he serves as deputy assistant secretary for the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor at the State Department. The online version reflects Baer's accurate title, as does a correction in Vogue's most recent issue.
