Kim Kardashian, Amy Poehler And More Stars Whose Post-Divorce Style Is Simply Stunning (PHOTOS)

Posted: Updated:

When Amy Poehler hit the red carpet at the 2012 Emmys, jaws dropped. The "Parks And Recreation" funny lady stunned in a plunging Stella McCartney gown that had us thinking, "Divorce. What divorce?" Poehler is one of many celebrities who have suffered painful public splits, only to emerge like a phoenix rising from the ashes. Case in point: Liberty Ross, wife of Rupert Sanders (of Kristen Stewart notoriety), hit the catwalk for Alexander Wang's spring 2013 show looking better than ever. The erstwhile model walked the runway again in a major way, and we can only hope that her confidence was given a serious boost.

Kim Kardashian is one of the most recent stars whose style has had a complete overhaul (though we think that's due to her rapper and fashion designer boyfriend Kanye rather than her breakup with Kris Humphries), and we're still waiting to see how Katie Holmes' style will evolve now that she has divorced Tom Cruise, but we're liking how her style seems much more her own: She has been spotted looking much more toned-down since the days of glitzy outings with Cruise. In the past we've seen stars like Reese Witherspoon and Demi Moore (remember that bikini in "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle" following her divorce from Bruce Willis) appear post-split looking trim, energetic and even better than they did before. Whether it's their newfound independence, the right stylist or just a fresh start, we have to give these women a hand. Or maybe it is just the wisdom one gains with the passage of time. Either way, we love to see these ladies looking so damn good.

Check out 13 celebrities whose post-split style has us stunned.
