Hugh Grant Supports Gay Marriage, Though Admits He Doesn't Want To Tie The Knot

WATCH: Hugh Grant Supports Gay Marriage, While Expressing No Desire To Tie The Knot

Hugh Grant has spoken out in favor of same-sex marriage, despite expressing no desire to tie the knot himself.

In a new video for Britain's Out4Marriage campaign, the "Love Actually" star declares, "I'm not a massive believer in marriage; I think my own biography is testament to that."

However, he then notes, "But I do think that love is the same for everyone, and I do think everyone should have the same rights."

The 52-year-old actor's cheeky reference to his own love life is particularly apt. Not only was Grant arrested in 1995 for picking up a prostitute while dating Liz Hurley, but he became a father in 2011 as the result of a "fleeting affair" with Chinese actress Tinglan Hong.
