Sunday night's NFL match-up between the Green Bay Packers and Seattle Seahawks ended controversially when a pair of replacement refs called a game-winning touchdown on the final play that most people are saying didn't count. It doesn't help that the refs are substitutes, called in because the NFL couldn't make a deal with their regular referees (who are on strike) in time for the regular season.
Backlash was severe, with Green Bay players taking to Twitter to complain about the inexperienced refs, and it got Jimmy Kimmel wondering -- could your average person on the street do a better job than these guys?
It turns out the answer is yes, kind of.
