Al Gore will lead Current TV's coverage of the presidential debates, the network announced Wednesday.
The former vice-president will be joined by the network's on-air talent for the debates, the first of which will take place October 3. His panelists will include John Fugelsang, Eliot Spitzer, Cenk Uygur and Michigan governor Jennifer Granholm.
The network has turned to Gore — Current's co-founder and chair — for hosting duties during the 2012 election. He recently led the network's coverage of the Republican and Democratic conventions.
