One of the most interesting aspects of celeb stories is what comes after — your guys' hilarious, occasionally rant-y and generally colorful responses to what's happening in the world of celebrity news. Here are a couple of the stories that you guys had strong or funny responses to this week, as demonstrated by (what else?) animated GIFs:
Kelly Osbourne donned a $250,000 manicure for the Emmys, which was given to her for free as a promotion by a salon. Per her original message on Instagram: "About to get a $250k manicure w nail polish made w blk diamonds made by @azature so excited & honored but absolutely shitting myself to have that much money on my nails!"$250,000. For your nails. There was quite a backlash, because even though Kelly didn't pay for it, to most of us that sort of money for nail polish looks approximately like this:

Skitzlpk: “I'm just pissed she didn't let me give her the treatment. I could have duplicated that look for fifty bucks or so & felt good about pocketing the rest.”

The onslaught of negative reactions prompted Kelly to apologize over Twitter; a lot of you debated about whether the apology was necessary.Genfactorx thought it was all in the delivery: “I think it was the bragging about the cost that caused a stir—had she kept her tweet a tad bit more humble she probably wouldn't have been lambasted by her own twitter fans.”
FSMbaby: “When so many people are unemployed, losing their homes & worried about how to put food on the table, it's a bit crass to brag about a $250,000.00 manicure.”
LordByron13 wasn't buying it: “I'm sorry but I see nothing wrong with this. As long as they aren't blood-diamonds, who cares? If she bought them, I 'might' see the point, but again who cares, it's her money. We've got bigger issues to worry about, and Kelly wearing these things or not isn't going to affect those issues in a positive/negative way."
Also, as Robhllnd2 pointed out: “She says she didn't pay for it but was picked. Why not?” Let's be honest—if someone came to you and said they'd give you an insanely expensive manicure for free, most people would probably react like this:
Katharine Saavedra, though, pointed out the ridiculousness of the whole situation: “Outraged by a manicure? Because so many diamonds had to die for it? What's dumber? People being outraged over a manicure or Kelly Osbourne being upset about being called frivolous, for wearing something on the Red Carpet, for the Emmy's? Because the Emmy's are really somber and serious business.”
Meanwhile, Ke$ha says she had sex with a ghost.
