One Missouri woman is offering inspiration for the millions of jobless Americans struggling to find work.
Tisha Shelton is a 25-year-old searching for a graphic design job. She’s also armless. In an aim to show employers that she can do everything a worker with arms can do, Shelton created a YouTube channel called “Tisha UnArmed,” which features her doing everything from making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich to driving. The blog already has 1.5 million views on YouTube.
Hopefully Shelton’s video series will work quickly. The chance of getting invited to interview for a job sharply decreases the longer an applicant is out of work, according to a recent study cited by The New York Times.
