Why does "Looper" seem a bit familar? Well, maybe because Bruce Willis has done the "meeting up with his younger self" before schtick before -- about over a decade ago in "Disney's The Kid."
Screen Junkies spliced that together with some clips of "Angels in the Outfield" era Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and all of a sudden, we found ourselves going back in time again just like in "Looper," or something, that plot is very confusing.
