There's some major "Munsters" drama in TV land.

On Monday night, Deadline.com reported that Bryan Fuller's highly anticipated "The Munsters" reboot -- which already had a full script and cast -- wouldn't be ordered to series by NBC.

Fuller shot down the rumors about "Mockingbird Lane" via Twitter less than an hour later.

Starring Portia de Rossi, Jerry O'Connell and Eddie Izzard, Fuller expressed his excitement over the reboot at Comic-Con in July. "[I hope] 'Mockingbird Lane' looks like Hitchcock directing a 'Harry Potter' film," he said, according to audience members.

Here's to hoping the rumor mill is wrong this time around.
