Justin Bieber might have been totally embarrassed when he puked during the first show of his "Believe" tour in Arizona on Saturday, September 29, but he's not the only superstar who's gotten sick while performing onstage.

Actually, a handful of big singers have thrown up during their concerts, whether it's in front of a live audience, backstage or right before the show. That's right, stars like Rihanna, Kings of Leon's Caleb Followill, Adele and even Lady Gaga have tossed their cookies while thousands of screaming fans looked on. (Now that can't be fun).

So Bieber, no worries! Lots of people barf onstage -- at least you were man enough to keep singing. The show must go on ...

Take a look at these 8 celebrities who couldn't keep from vomiting:

  • Justin Bieber

The teen pop star must not have been feeling well on Sept. 29, 2012 as he puked onstage in the middle of a song. Bieber was performing in Glendale, Ariz. -- the first stop on his Believe concert tour. Later that night he tweeted, "Milk was a bad choice! Lol."

  • Lady Gaga

Mother Monster tossed her cookies on Aug. 16, 2012, while performing at her Born This Way Ball in Bucharest, Romania in front of 35,000 people. Halfway through the show, Gaga ran offstage to throw up and came back, telling the crowd, "I went backstage and vomited, and I did not want you to see this ... it happens to me sometimes."

  • Rihanna

She later posted the whole story on Twitter, writing, "yep, i ran off stage to throw up, halfway thru What's My Name ... made it back juuuust in time for RudeBoy."

  • Caleb Followill

In July of 2011, the Kings of Leon frontman got ill during a concert in Dallas, Texas, but let the crowd know before it was going to happen. "I'm gonna go backstage and I'm gonna vomit, I'm gonna drink a beer and I'm gonna come back out and play three more songs," he said. But, Followill never came back, much to the disappointment of his fans and his band members, brothers Jared and Nathan and cousin Matthew.

  • Adele

She may have the voice of an angel, but Adele is actually terrified to perform live. The singer admitted to Vogue that she suffers from stage fright and almost always throws up before performing. "I puke quite a lot before going on stage... Though never actually on stage," the Grammy winner clarified, adding, "But then, I sh*t myself before everything ... The bigger the freak-out, the more I enjoy the show!"

"I'm so sick right now, but they said I should show up because something special might happen. Thank you to everyone at my record label. I proved I work pretty hard because I want to die right now," said Katy in her acceptance speech.

  • Taylor Momsen

The now 18-year-old "Gossip Girl" star puked onstage when she was 16 after battling food poisoning. While performing with her band the Pretty Reckless, Momsen got sick, but managed to continue singing. "It was so hot, 102 degrees or something," she told BBC Radio 1. "I went onstage in a leather jacket being stupid -- I have to wear my leather jacket. I almost threw up in the middle of the second song. I was spewing in my mouth and swallowing it back down and I kept turning around and singing." TMI.

  • Billie Joe Armstrong
