Liam Neeson has been mostly promoting “Taken 2” on his talk-show tour, but decided to take a break from talking shop to get (nearly) naked for a cause even closer to his heart.
The 60-year-old hunk paid a visit to “Ellen” on Monday (wearing nothing but a pink robe and matching undies), stripped down to his knickers and climbed into a dunk tank. The Irish star agreed to go buff (and get soaking wet) on national television to help raise awareness – and a whopping $20,000 – for breast cancer research.
“You are setting the bar high [for] whoever follows you,” DeGeneres said as Neeson prepared for the stunt.
Adding even more charm to the moment was the fact that the audience member chosen to throw balls at the tank’s target was a woman who was diagnosed with breast cancer four years ago and is now cancer free.
The host's dunking tank is just one of a number of fundraising pursuits DeGeneres is spearheading during Breast Cancer Awareness month to bring in money for Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
Liam Neeson raised $20,043 wearing this outfit. $20,000 from Shutterfly, and $43 in singles stuck in his spe instagr.am/p/QQSmBptjKZ/
