Michele Bachmann's Favorite Things (PHOTOS, PLAYLIST)

Posted: Updated:

Five weeks from Election Day, Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) appears to be on a candid streak.

In an interview with the St. Paul Pioneer Press, Bachmann opened up about a host of topics, headed by who she would trade places with for a day.

"Barack Obama," Bachmann told the paper. "I tried to do that. I would do a lot in that day, believe me. If I had a matching House and Senate, I'd start at 12:01 (a.m.) and work until midnight."

Bachmann's presidential hopes looked promising last August when she captured a victory in the Ames Straw Poll. By January, however, that momentum had withered away. Her aspirations came to an end after a poor performance in the Iowa caucuses.

Beyond Bachmann's desire to have her chance in the White House, the congresswoman revealed to the Pioneer Press a detailed lineup of her loves in life, from her favorite food to her go-to recreational activity. HuffPost Politics took note of Bachmann's choices, pairing her favorite things with some of our go-to tunes on Spotify. Spotify users: open up your app, and let the music do the rest.
