Courtney Stodden Takes Center Stage On 'Couples Therapy'

Ever since Courtney Stodden married then-51-year old actor Doug Hutchinson back when she was only 16-years-old, she's been auditioning for a reality show. The couple finally got what they wanted, appearing in the new season of VH1's "Couples Therapy."

Right away, there was plenty to explore about the couple. "I call him dad instead of Doug," Courtney said.

Doug responded, "See? This is the thing. I’m raising my wife." A 34-year age difference could make things feel that way, perhaps.

In an interview with EW, Courtney promises plenty of drama in the season to come, as well as issues between her and virtually everyone else there. She said that the other women felt she was flirting with their husbands when she wasn't, and even Dr. Jenn Berman told her she was becoming a distraction.

In this episode, resident counselor Rachel Clark gave her first impressions of the couple. "The first thing I noticed about Courtney and Doug was Courtney’s outfit. A little too revealing for my taste."

The journey continues on "Couples Therapy," Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET on VH1.

TV Replay scours the vast television landscape to find the most interesting, amusing, and, on a good day, amazing moments, and delivers them right to your browser.
