Posted: Updated:

Memphis-based rapper Al Kapone has released a music video in support of Republican candidate George Flinn of Tennessee.

Kapone, whose real name is Alphonzo Bailey, posted a music video for "George Flinn for Congressman" to his YouTube page Thursday. Flinn is also featuring the music video on his campaign website, along with links to download both the song and a "George Flinn for Congressman" ringtone.

Flinn is running against incumbent Democrat Steve Cohen to represent Tennessee's 9th Congressional District. Kapone is best known for performing the song "Get Crunk, Get Buck" and writing the Djay-performed track "Whoop That Trick," both featured on the soundtrack for the film "Hustle & Flow."
