It's been nearly a year since Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from her husband of 72 days, Kris Humphries.
Their dramatic divorce isn't even expected to go to trial until 2013, but Kardashian has already moved on and found "the one" in rapper Kanye West. The relationship was 10 years in the making, and many believe that Kanye has been referencing his love for the reality star for years. When the couple began dating in April, there was immediate chatter that the pairing was nothing more than a publicity stunt, but months later the couple are still going strong and can't stop talking about each other.
Following the fallout from her much-publicized failed marriage, Kardashian claimed that she was going to keep her personal life private, but Kardashian continues to be more open about her relationships than ever before -- case in point, the 31-year-old reality star was practically gushing about West in an interview with Tatler magazine.
"It's so nice to have a best friend in this game who understands everything you're going through," she told Tatler of West. "Being with someone I've known for so many years is comforting."
Part of the reason Kardashian believes their relationship works is because he's known her since before she was famous and has been there through many different stages of her life. It's interesting that Kardashian dons a white wedding dress for the magazine's photo shoot and proclaims, "I can't even think about being with anyone else than the man I'm with."
The star, who recently joked about what her and West's babies would look like, is so in love that she's even discounting all of her past relationships.
"When I look back at interviews I gave (about previous boyfriends) saying, 'We're talking about marriage, etc.' it's embarrassing. And I really believed it at the time! I'm such a hopeless romantic that I'll always believe the next one is the one," she said.
And Kim might just be "the one" for Kanye too. Despite false reports from the New York Daily News that West was too embarrassed by his girlfriend to bring her to Paris Fashion week, it's clear that West is all about Kardashian. In fact, the rapper just announced he was taking a break from Twitter, after deleting all of his previous tweets and stopped following everyone except Kardashian. If that's not love, we don't know what is.
