Playing Queen Bee Blair Waldorf may look glamorous, but Leighton Meester recently admitted her "Gossip Girl" role gets tiring.

While talking about her satirical indie film "The Oranges," Meester opened up about how much fun she had delving into the psyche of her character.

"That is so satisfying. I don't get that with 'Gossip Girl,'" she told New York Daily News of Blair. "It's just episode after episode, for six years. Frankly, you grow out of it. Having said that, I am so grateful to have the show. It's given me the opportunity to do this film and many others."

With the final season of the CW series premiering on Monday, all questions about the Upper East Side elite will inevitably be answered. Will Blair and Chuck end up together? How about Dan and Serena? And why is everybody slapping each other?

Season 6 of "Gossip Girl" premieres Mon., Oct. 8 at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
