Ever dreamed of owning a Frank Lloyd Wright-designed home?

One of the iconic architect's "bootleg" homes in the city's Kenwood neighborhood recently hit the market. The six-bedroom, three-bathroom Warren McArthur home, located at 4852 S. Kenwood, would be a real coup for any fixer-upper-friendly Wright buff.

At a listing price of $1.48 million, the 1892 home comes in its original architectural condition and also offers a coach house, two fireplaces and plenty of Wright's trademark arches, built-ins and stunning window designs.

Wright's so-called "bootleg" homes were named as such because they were built in violation of his then-contract with a Chicago-based Adler Sullivan firm.

Coincidentally, a second Wright bootleg next door -- the George Blossom home, 4858 S. Kenwood -- is also for sale. Its price tag is $1.48 million -- and no, we don't believe the realtor is offering any sort of buy-one-get-one discount.

Both properties have been listed through Coldwell Banker Residential.
