Though future for Klaine on "Glee" looks bleak,tDarren Criss is hopeful for Blaine and Kurt (Chris Colfer).
Even if Blaine and Kurt move on to new beaus, Criss told TVLine he hopes the two would still be part of each other's lives.
"I would love to see them be a part of each other’s future relationships ... If Kurt meets someone new and they are having some problems, I hope Blaine is the person that Kurt calls and says, ‘This is really tough for me.’ And vice-versa. If Blaine meets somebody, he goes to Kurt."
Criss said he hopes "Glee" will show that Kurt and Blaine have a bond, regardless of what happens. "And I think that’s an excellent message to show young people: The end doesn’t mean it’s the end. It’s just a new chapter," he said.
However, fans should take note that EW reports there aren't any plans to introduce the mysterious Eli with whom Blaine cheated on Kurt with.
Colfer told TheInsider.com that he thought the break-up was very realistic. "People grow up and grow apart. You get busy and lose contact with people you love over time, not intentionally, it's just how life is sometimes," he said. "It also gives the story so many places to go now."
To help ease the pain of the dedicated "Glee" fans, Criss started a charity auction for tissue boxes signed by the stars.
"Glee" airs on Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET.
