CNN's Soledad O'Brien To Reince Priebus: I 'Ask Tough Questions Of Everybody' (VIDEO)

Posted: Updated:

CNN's Soledad O'Brien clashed with RNC chairman Reince Priebus after he accused her of bias on Thursday's "Starting Point."

She confronted Priebus over Romney's statements about his plans regarding abortion. Romney recently told the Des Moines Register that he does not intend pursue legislation regarding abortion. In the past, however, he has said that he will cut funding for Planned Parenthood. "That sounds completely contradictory to me," O'Brien told Priebus Thursday. "How's it not?"

O'Brien repeatedly pressed him to answer the question, and the two sparred over the issue. At the end of the segment, however, Priebus shifted his focus to another subject.

"Soledad, I wish you would be as passionate about taking Barack Obama to task for every one of his promises and for every one of his changes that he didn't follow through on," he said.

"Which we do all the time. You know what, trust me -- " she said. O'Brien said that she would send him tweets from both Republicans and Democrats who "hate" her.

"I don't hate you," he said.

"Of course, I assume that," she said. "I know you love me, but I'm just telling you, the people who watch us. But I've got to tell you, we're going to ask tough questions of everybody, I don't care what side they're on, honestly."
