A new book reveals that reality TV star Kate Gosselin has made demands that make the notoriously difficult J.Lo look low-key. She’s certainly detail-oriented and isn’t afraid to tell you what she wants, according to the new book, Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled the World, which describes demands Kate and her family have made when traveling.

Featuring email exchanges between Kate and the producers of her hit reality series, the book details how the mom of eight was only willing to stay at one of New York’s fanciest hotels, Essex House, for free if certain stipulations were followed.

The book claims Kate demanded a suite and an additional king room directly next door. A room down the hall or even one room farther away was not acceptable. When staying in New York to promote her reality show, Kate also had very specific dietary requirements that she sent ahead of time:

Wednesday dinner- Kobe beef tips (extremely tender steak- medium to medium well), steamed broccoli, whipped mashed potatoes, as well as French fries. Organic blueberries and vanilla ice cream for dessert.(This meal should be available as option for kids and adults. A mixed green/ grilled chicken salad should also be available- see below for ingredients).

Thursday lunch- Homemade macaroni and cheese with mild white cheddar and small shell pasta, fries with honey mustard dipping sauce and carrot and celery sticks with ranch dressing. Apple slices. Chocolate chip cookies for dessert. (Additional option of mixed green/ grilled chicken salad for adults: see below for salad ingredients)

Thursday dinner- Hamburgers (sliders) and cheeseburgers (sliders) as well as hot dogs and chicken fingers with honey mustard dipping sauce and French fries and onion rings. Dill pickles on the side. Steamed seasoned green beans on the side as well.Vanilla cake with vanilla icing for dessert. (Additional mixed green/ grilled chicken salad option needed for adults- see below for ingredients)

Friday lunch- peanut butter and grape jelly on wheat bread (whole grain with no obvious grain in it). Potato Chips, fruit salad (blueberries, bananas, apple, grapes, strawberries, kiwi, pineapple, etc), Monterey jack cheese cubes, and oatmeal raisin cookies for dessert. (Substitute for adults: ham and cheese sandwiches on wheat with lettuce tomato and onion and horseradish spread as well as a MIXED GREEN SALAD with grilled chicken, cucumber, tomato, sliced strawberries (or pears), feta cheese crumbles, pecans and a balsamic vinaigrette dressing.)

Friday dinner (if we are still there);Pizza: cheese, pepperoni, onion and green peppers in different configurations. French fries, and steamed broccoli.Chocolate brownies for dessert. (Additional mixed green/ grilled chicken salad option for adults needed- see above for ingredients)

Additionally, we would like the following Whole Foods selections in our room (main suite only): (as requested):10 Organic bananas, 4 boxes organic blueberries, 4 packages organic cheese sticks, 2 boxes organic 'Ritz' crackers (the equivalent of Ritz but the organic brand), 2 six packs 'Yo Kids' (stonyfield farms) organic yogurt, 1 pack organic peanut butter cookies, 3 bottles organic lemonade, 1 gallon organic (pulp free) orange juice, 2 gallons spring water (unless supplied), 2 packages of Individually packaged cookies, 2 packages of individually packaged peanut butter crackers and/ or cheese crackers to eat on the run!

But what's even more delicious is, it was all on TLC's dime. Yummy. Neither Kate nor her manager responded to calls for comment.
