European Union Peace Prize Twitter Reactions

Posted: Updated:

When it comes to awarding its prestigious peace prize, the Norway-based Nobel Committee tends to leave everyone at a loss for words. Remember 2009, when the committee sparked a frenzy after presenting the award to Barack Obama, merely a few months after he was sworn into office.

The move has triggered a torrent of mixed responses, ranging from animated delight to fierce dismay.
