We'd be hard-pressed to find someone who doesn't absolutely adore Betty White. Not only did she play the lovably spacey Rose Nylund on "The Golden Girls" but she has also starred alongside Ryan Reynolds -- how many actors can say that? As one of the most-esteemed veterans in the biz (and one of the funniest) White has spent her career racking up awards (she's won seven Emmys to be exact), hosting SNL (as the oldest guest-host ever) and giving that million-dollar smile that can make anyone fall in love with her instantly.
In this 1957 photograph we see the Illinois-native out on the water in the perfect look. Her cable knit sweater is cozy enough to allow her to enjoy the sea breeze. She has her curls swept off her face with a cute white headwrap (we'll keep this in mind for our next bad hair day). But what we can't stop staring at is her luminescent skin -- it's glistening more than the ocean.
