'Honey Boo Boo' Endorses Barack Obama For President On 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' (VIDEO)

Posted: Updated:

Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson and "Mama June" Shannon appeared as guests on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Monday night, and with the second presidential debate approaching on Tuesday, Kimmel took the conversation in a political direction, asking the 7-year-old reality star who she supports in the election.

But first, he let her know that Mitt Romney may not be her biggest fan. "They asked Mitt Romney if he preferred Snooki or Honey Boo Boo,” Kimmel said. "He said he preferred Snooki."

Then he asked Alana which presidential candidate she would vote for if she were able to. Her answer, which was met with rousing applause from Kimmel's studio audience, was "Barack Obama."

They say celebrity endorsements don't mean much, but this one might just shake up the race.

"Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" is set to return for several holiday specials throughout the remainder of 2012, and will return with more episodes in 2013 on TLC. "Jimmy Kimmel Live" airs weeknights at 12 a.m. ET on ABC.

TV Replay scours the vast television landscape to find the most interesting, amusing, and, on a good day, amazing moments, and delivers them right to your browser.
