When Donna Brazile, Vice-Chair of the Democratic National Committee, joined me on Mondays with Marlo I just had to ask her about same-sex marriage. Although marriage between homosexual couples may be legal, the law still doesn't allow these partners the same rights as heterosexual couples, and I just had to ask her why. According to Donna, President Obama and many others in Washington are working very hard to bring about marriage equality, but there is still such a great deal of discrimination that still exists for same-sex couples in the U.S.
