This open thread is to discuss all of the day's polls -- what they tell us about the election, their methodological strengths and weaknesses, notable findings others have missed or whatever else you want to talk about. "Gallup showed more favorable results for the GOP than what transpired in 2010 (+12 R on the general ballot iirc, when it actually ended up around +7), so I don't know, I wouldn't say they're biased, but perhaps something is up with their methodology this time. Or maybe they're the only ones that are correct. I don't think anyone would dispute that if Romney is really up by 6 nationally, he's on the road to victory. It's unwise to pick any one poll you like and discount the ones you don't." - y2roby
