The woman at the center of Alex Rodriguez's "Flirt-Gate" (just what the Yankees needed) that occurred late in Game 1 of the ALCS between the Yankees and Tigers has been identified.
Bikini model and designer Kyna Treacy has been named as the woman who A-Rod was flirting with during Saturday's playoff game, according to the New York Post. A-Rod zeroed in on the Australian brunette, who was sitting two rows behind the dugout with a friend, during the ninth inning with the Yankees behind.
A-Rod flirted with Treacy and scored her number after giving her a ball with a note on it, the Post previously reported. “The note asked them to write their phone numbers on the ball and throw it back," a source told the paper. “One of the girls, with darker blond hair, wrote . . . on the ball and threw it back at A-Rod, who gave her a big smile." Adding, “They exchanged a few glances after that."
Treacy has her own swimwear line and has appeared in a commercial for Air Pacific. Eight years ago, she was crowned “Yellowglen Bubbly Girl," earning her a spokesmodel gig for the champagne brand.
Treacy did not have much to say about the Post's piece about her canoodling with the Yankees star, but she did note that the Post got her age wrong.
A-Rod is currently dating wrestler Torrie WIlson, who seemed to indirectly comment on the story, tweeting:
