A "Happy Endings" and "Don't Trust The B---- In Apt. 23" crossover is really happening ... sort of.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the crossover of sorts happens in the Tuesday, October 30 episode of "Don't Trust the B" when June (Dreama Walker) creates a YouTube video of Chloe (Krysten Ritter) and a "Happy Endings" actor.

"It's basically a video like fans make on YouTube with clips of 'The X-Files' where Mulder (David Duchovny) and Scully (Gillian Anderson) fall in love," "Don't Trust the B" co-creator Nahnatchka Khan told THR. "June has made a video of Chloe (Krysten Ritter) and one of the 'Happy Endings' guys falling in love."

"Happy Endings" and "Don't Trust the B" both move to Tuesday nights on Tuesday, October 23. The two comedies will air after the "Dancing With the Stars" results show with "Happy Endings" at 9 p.m. and "Don't Trust The B" at 9:30 p.m.

News of a potential crossover between the two comedies first broke in August 2012 with the executive producers of both comedies working on a plan to give nods to each other.

"At the end of one of their episodes, they're watching 'Dawson's Creek' and they're like, 'That was a good show. Whatever happened to that guy?' and they have some theories about what he's doing now and then they go right into our show and we see what James is doing," Khan said of an earlier crossover pitch. "I would love it."

"Happy Endings" Season 3 premieres on Tuesday, October 23 at 9 p.m. ET on ABC and "Don't Trust The B" Season 2 will follow on Tuesday, October 23 a 9:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
