Because of baseball preemptions, Fox won't be airing a new "Fringe" on Oct. 19, but to ease the pain (or perhaps make the wait even more unbearable), the network has released a chilling new promo that previews the show's upcoming episodes.
Ominously titled "Resist," the cinematic new preview offers "Fringe" fans fresh glimpses of the story ahead, including the reappearance of an aged Broyles (Lance Reddick) who seems to be working for the Observers. The video also spells trouble for Peter (Joshua Jackson), who appears to be caught in a powerful explosion and left at the mercy of Captain Windmark.
How will the final season unfold? We'll have to tune in to find out when "Fringe" returns on Friday, Oct. 26 at 9 p.m. ET on Fox.
(H/T to TVLine, who first posted the promo.)
