Princess Charlene & Prince Albert II Go Glam In New York At The 2012 Princess Grace Awards (PHOTOS)

Princess Charlene and her husband, Prince Albert II, rarely make it to the United States, but when they do, they know how to do it right. Like, say, coming for THE OSCARS.

The royal pair from Monaco made the jump stateside for the annual Princess Grace Awards on Monday night, first lunching at posh Upper East Side restaurant Daniel. (Let's just say it's a little fancier than where we usually lunch.)

For the ceremony that night, which raises money for a foundation first organized by Albert's mother Grace Kelly, the couple slipped into their gala best to greet guests like Buzz Aldrin and Geena Davis: Charlene changed into a stunning halter ivory gown and accentuated her pixie cut with elegant earrings. Albert, of course, suited up in a tux.

The couple married in 2011 in a lavish ceremony in Monaco.

Welcome back to New York, Albert and Charlene... you're welcome any time (even if you want to crash on our couch).
