Savannah, Georgia Cemetery Tours: A Thoughtful Halloween Tradition (VIDEO)

Cities across the U.S. are gearing up their cemetery tours and haunted lore in honor of the 31st of this month.

Savannah, Georgia is different, though, with a long, authentic tradition of celebrating the dead -- and thoughtful tours of the beautiful graveyards of the city.

Last year, on a tour of Savannah's renowned Bonaventure Cemetery, guide Shannon Scott explained the many stories of Savannah whose narratives run through the riverfront burial ground.

As it turns out, "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" is only a tiny part of the many haunting tales here.
