Chicago-area house hunters interested in a "creative exchange" have a new opportunity to move on up...to a mansion in suburban Wadsworth.
The eager seller of a nearly $4 million dream house is open to "buy the home of a move-up buyer in a creative exchange," according to the 16,800 square foot property's listing.
The mansion looks more hotel than house and is perfectly geared for entertainment and luxe parties: the palatial pad comes with a movie theater, swimming pool, library and outdoor tennis court among other features. Listed as a five bedroom, the home has a whopping nine bathrooms (two of them partials) meaning guests will probably never have to wait to use the facilities.
The current asking price is less than half of the construction price, tallying in at $3,995,000. According to Curbed, the property was previously listed at $6.5 million when it first hit the market in May.
Wadsworth, the "Village of Country Living," covers fewer than ten square miles. With a property as large as this, the new owner can probably throw a block party for the whole community.
