France Gay Marriage Protests Draw Interpretive Dancer in Bird Costume (VIDEO)

This week's anti-gay marriage and parenting protests in France have already produced some truly stunning moments, but this latest video is by far the most bizarre.

Our friends at Towleroad have shared this eyebrow-raising clip, in which a French resident dressed as a bird engages in an "interpretive dance" in which he seems to be stressing the importance of a heterosexual family.

On Oct. 23, French demonstrators gathered in 75 cities throughout the country to oppose what is pending legislation which would effectively legalize both same-sex marriage and adoption, undoubtedly two of President Francois Hollande's most divisive campaign promises.

If the law is passed by mid-2013 as planned, France would become the 12th country around the world to legalize same-sex marriage, Reuters reported.
