San Francisco Giants Rally Monkey Brings Good Luck To The Team (PHOTOS)

Meet The Giants' Most Adorable Good Luck Charm

When it comes to the World Series, everyone has their superstitions. Our own editor got pooped on by a bird right when Pablo Sandoval hit his second home run during Game One. (Naturally, the pigeon poop was responsible for the Panda's performance.)

But the Giants' most adorable good luck charm is inarguably the San Francisco Zoo's baby Francois Langur. As soon as the orange and black monkey was born earlier this month, our boys began an impressive streak that has yet to slow down.

"The monkey was born and they immediately started winning," zoo spokeswoman Abigail Tuller said.

A sign outside the langur's exhibit encourages visitors to touch the Giants logo for good luck. Officials are encouraging fans to submit names for the monkey on the zoo's Facebook page. The most popular choices so far? Posey and Scutaro (go figure).

"Given how alert and active our adorable Francois langur monkey has been, we're quite sure that she's sending the Giants lots of luck," Tuller said.

Francois langurs are orange and birth and become black as adults.
