With all of the World Series excitement, it's hard to escape the baseball buzz in SF -- but the free events continue as we approach Halloween. 1015 Folsom hosts a free party with rockers Yeasayer working the DJ booth and a handful of local DJs. The International Vintage Poster Fair returns with more than 10,000 posters at Fort Mason and Noe Valley gets dressed up for the Harvest Festival.

A seat at the game comes with a hefty price tag, but patient fans can at least get a glimpse of the game through the outfield fence at AT&T Park. If that fails, there's <a href="http://www.sfstation.com/san-francisco-giants-vs-detroit-tigers-e1744171">always a TV nearby</a> with a free broadcast.
