Here at HuffPost Celebrity, we've been cooped up all day in our respective apartments waiting out Hurricane Sandy as our offices and the majority of New York City is closed due to the dangerous weather.
As the rain pours down, the winds pick up and, yes, the lights begin to flicker, we couldn't help but think there are more than a few celebrities we really wouldn't mind being stuck with for a couple days as we weather the storm:
Would sitting in the dark with Ryan Gosling for a few hours -- or even a few days -- be such a bad thing?
Jake would make great company since he already survived "The Day After Tomorrow."
When your best friend is stuck in her own apartment, Emma Stone makes a pretty great replacement BFF. Who needs electricity when you guys can talk about how cute her boyfriend Andrew Garfield is?
He got hostages out of Iran in "Argo," so he can totally handle a little old storm.
Just look at that face, why wouldn't we want to be stuck with him for a couple days?
George Clooney may refuse to settle down, but we'd gladly wait for the hurricane to pass with him -- especially since he's already survived "The Perfect Storm."
No reason necessary -- just look at those eyes.
She played Katniss, we think she can handle a little storm.
With all those degrees he has to know something about surviving bad weather, right?
When the power goes out he can teach us a few of his moves -- you know, the ones like Jagger.
Joseph Gordon Levitt
Because he makes us swoon.
Sure, he recently married Jessica Biel, but when we lose power he can serenade us all night long.
You'll be laughing too hard to be scared!
Because he'd probably be able to make the lights come back on -- or at least read us "Go The F*ck To Sleep" by candlelight.
For some reason we'd believe him if he told us "everything is going to be OK."
Tina Fey, Amy Poelher & Jon Stewart
No, seriously, can you think of a better group of people to be stuck with?
He'll keep us up to date on the storm and hopefully break out in to one of his notorious giggle fits.
Because he's adorable and will make you laugh so hard you forget about the dangerous winds howling outside your door.
