'Jersey Shore' House: Hurricane Sandy Leaves MTV Fixture Standing, Cast Reacts

'Jersey Shore' House Update, Cast Reacts To Hurricane Devastation

The house from MTV's "Jersey Shore" is still standing. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the reality show fixture (and presumably its duck phone) is still standing.

"Sandy destroyed Seaside -- our second home," Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi said in a statement to MTV News. "It's devastating to see our boardwalk and favorite spots ruined. My prayers go out to everyone affected by the storm."

Shore Store, the boardwalk clothing shop the MTV reality stars worked at during their time on the series, posted this message on Facebook: "It's a sad day at the Jersey Shore. Many homes, local businesses, and people have been damaged by this Hurricane Sandy. We will always have the good memories of the place we know as the 'Jersey Shore.' Please keep your thoughts and prayers with this East Coast disaster."

MTV's "Jersey Shore" followed the antics of Snooki, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, "Pauly D" DelVecchio, Jenni "JWoww" Farley, Sammi Giancola, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Vinny Guadagnino and Deena Nicole Cortese while they partied, fought and lived in Seaside Heights.

"Over the last few years, it feels like Seaside Heights has become my second home," Vinny said in a statement. "My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who was affected by this disaster in Seaside and all across the Northeast. I'm here to support in any way I can."
