Nancy Pelosi Promotes Voter Turnout In New Video

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is part of a new campaign urging voters to head to the polls next Tuesday.

In a video released Wednesday by, Pelosi issues a strong statement on the importance of voting.

"You have a responsibility to get in there and try to change what you don't like about the system," Pelosi says. "If we reduce the role of money, if we stop the suppression of the vote, if we stop the stridency in the debate, many more young people would be attracted to politics, many more would be elected to office -- many more young people and women. So get involved."

"That's what a democracy is about," Pelosi continues.
