Arizona Polls 2012: Closing Time, Opening Time, And Where To Vote

Are you ready to vote, Arizona?

Here's what you need to know about voting in Arizona on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012.

The Arizona polls closing time is 7 p.m. local time; opening time is slated for 6 a.m. local time, earlier than most states.

Voter registration in Arizona has reportedly surged ahead of the general election, showing enthusiasm to vote this year, according to Secretary of State Ken Bennett.

The state of Arizona has 11 electoral votes up for grabs in the presidential race. It has voted Republican in nine of the past 10 presidential elections.
