Christina Aguilera's 'Blank Page': Xtina's Moody Ballad (VIDEO)

LISTEN: Christina Aguilera Gets Emotional With 'Blank Page'

Vocal powerhouse and "The Voice" judge Christina Aguilera has released a new ballad off her upcoming upcoming album "Lotus." The moody song, "Blank Page," showcases not only Aguilera's impressive range, but how much her style has changed since the days of "Dirrty."

"[It's] a beautiful, vulnerable, amazing ballad that reminds me of the emotional vulnerability yet empowerment feeling that you get from listening to, say, 'Beautiful,'" Aguilera said in an interview with Billboard.

"Blank Page" offers up a contemplative Xtina, singing, "I know there's hurt I know there's pain / But people change lord knows I've been no saint / In my own way, regret choices I've made / How do I say I'm sorry? How do I say I'm sorry?"

As the song builds, she pleads, "Draw me a smile and save me tonight / I am a blank page waiting for you to bring me to life / Paint me a heart let me be your art / I am a blank page waiting for life to start / Let our hearts stop and beat as one together / Let our hearts stop and beat as one forever."

Aguilera, who has been the subject of recent criticism because of her weight, appears nude on the cover of the "Lotus" album. The new record arrives on Nov. 13.
